This is a fun and quick alternative to donuts for children! No cooking is involved either so they are quick and easy for all of the family!
To recreate our version, you will need the following:
- Apples
- Greek Yoghurt
- Food Colouring (optional)
- Sprinkles
Step 1: Wash apples and remove the apple core from the centre.

Step 2: Slice the apples horizontally to get the apple shaped rings. Slice about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 3: In a bowl, add a couple of tablespoons of greek yoghurt and a small amount of food colouring to get your desired colour. We use Wilton Food Colouring as only a small amount is needed.
Step 5: Add the coloured yoghurt to the apples, spread evenly.

Step 6: Add sprinkles on top! Enjoy!
You can have loads of fun with this and use a variety of toppings. You could also use cream cheese rather than greek yoghurt.
